MSY Margherita is actually moored in the major Marina nearby the city of Roma, in the borough of Ostia Lido. Located on the north shore of the seaside of Italian capital and only 10 miles from the city center.
Marina can be reached from Roma by a short train ride and a local bus or by a 10 minutes taxi ride from FCO International airport that is well connected to the Americas, Europe and Far East Asia.
Entry from the sea is North/North-East and is subject to frequent sand bars and rough waves in case of westerlies. Contact with control tower must be made on channel 74 before leaving or entering. Local mooring service is provided by a marina crew by their own dinghy.
Services and facilities are as follows: major repairing works through hoisting crane, engine repair shops, shipchandler, restaurants, cafeterias, diving center, apparels.
