Latest additions and maintenance actions have been settled for next season’ sailing…
1. Refrigerators serviced and spare Heavy Waters Exhaust System (GIANNESCHI pumps) assembled by Stefano FIORAVANTI;
2. New U-Line Ice Maker assembly bought in Turkey and transferred to Italy. Serviced by operator and BUTTIGLI (SEAT);
3. New Solar Panels (Victron Energy, 1.160 Watt) system has been installed by Mirel BARCAN;
4. New Furuno Navigation System (SCX-21 and GPS39) assembled by Jacopo & Roberto BINDI (D-RIGGING) for the mast fittings and Marco SCIPPA (ELECTROWAVE) for indoor connections. This last addition wasn’t going to be possible without the precious help of Capt. Stefano BIFFI who carried all the stuff from Washington D.C. to Istanbul (notably that took place on his last flight on a B.777 before retiring and thus having more time available to sail his Super Maramu 53 Amel ketch) and Dilek BILGICI who took care of consequent shipping to Bodrum. Thereafter to Roma by me…(quite a long tour around the world as per long Covid-19 crisis Furuno Japan stopped shipping to Europe any electronics while kept doing so to the US).
Here we are! Almost ready to set sails for next months exciting program in Italy and France.
We’ll keep you posted during cruising. Stay tuned folks!
